The St. John's Red Storm men's basketball team represents the St. John's University in Queens, New York. The team participates in the Big East Conference. They are currently coached by Chris Mullin, a Hall of Fame player who is arguably the school's greatest-ever player, who succeeded Steve Lavin after the 2014–15 season. On March 13, 2011, they were selected to play in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2002.
